Cursor and Cline

Sign in, open API keys and click Create key. Copy it right away: it’s shown once. New to Modelway? Start with getting access.

OpenAI-compatible tools take Modelway’s URL with /v1 at the end:

1. Open Cursor Settings → Models.
2. Paste your Modelway key as the OpenAI API key.
3. Turn on Override OpenAI Base URL and paste the URL above.
4. Add the models you want by id, such as claude-sonnet-5.5, and pick one in the chat.

Good to know. Tab completion keeps using Cursor’s own models.

1. Open Cline’s settings in VS Code.
2. Set API Provider to OpenAI Compatible.
3. Paste the URL above as the Base URL and your Modelway key as the API Key.
4. Enter a Model ID from the catalog, such as claude-sonnet-5.5.

Any tool with an OpenAI-compatible provider works the same way: the URL above and your key. Tools with an Anthropic provider take it without /v1: https://modelway.vip.
